This HDR image is a view across the south end of Kootenay Lake, in the Creston Valley Wildlife Management Area. Darkwoods is the largest private land acquisition for conservation in Canadian history which will preserve 55,000 hectares of Interior B.C. rainforest in the Selkirk Mountains dubbed 'Darkwoods.'
